How Lumothinks.

Before we talk about what Lumo does, we talk about the thinking we return to. These are not rules but positions — six stances we refuse to let go of, so we stay research-led.

  1. 01

    We observe, never guess.

We do not guess. We observe. That is all. We watch the behavior of biosignal data itself, not the names laid on the surface of the mind.

  2. 02

We measure; we do not diagnose.

Our products measure and record. Diagnostic and treatment decisions stay with qualified clinicians. Even when our tools cross into medical-device territory, we remain on the side that supports clinical judgment — never the side that replaces it.

  3. 03

    Anonymity, by default.

Personally identifying handling is opt-in only. Any secondary research use requires explicit, separate consent. Re-identification of anonymized aggregates is forbidden by design.

  4. 04

We do not blend the language of selling with the language of science.

What we can and cannot measure — we name the assumptions and the limits openly, by design. We keep the language of selling and the language of science from merging.

  5. 05

We do not speak of effect before it is verified.

To speak of effect at all, verification must come first. We design ourselves to stay at a distance from the temptation to say "it works" before that.

  6. 06

    Data lives on trust.

We do not sell user heart data to third parties. Feelmo keeps records local to the device by default. Data, we believe, is only meaningful when it stands on trust.

Each time our capabilities grow, so does the ground we return to.
