This policy describes how Lumo ("we," "us") handles information obtained through our website and Feelmo (together, the "Service"). We designed this policy on the principle that data about your body exists for observation — and should never be bought or sold for inference.
1. Information We Collect
To understand usage and improve the experience, the Service may collect the following.
- Website: access logs, browser identifiers, cookies, referrer information.
- Feelmo (iOS app): only HRV-derived data and the regulation score recorded on the device; nothing is automatically sent to our servers.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information only to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) compute the Lumo Regulation Score; (c) improve the Service statistically; and (d) meet legal and contractual obligations. We do not use information for medical diagnosis or individual profiling.
3. Storage & Security
- Feelmo: stored locally on the device by default; use of iCloud backup and similar follows your OS settings.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your heart data or other body information to third parties. Any secondary use for research requires separate, explicit consent. We respond to lawful disclosure requests only to the minimum extent required.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your information. To exercise rights under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the GDPR, or the CCPA, contact us below.
